Missing in Action

So sorry to be away from my blog for so long.  I have been off having some fun!

First, I took a trip with my husband to South Carolina's Edisto Island for a week.  I have a cousin who lives in SC and we love to go to the beach.  Sadly, my husband and I both got a cold right before we left on our trip.  So, we were tons of fun.  Not.  I managed to enjoy myself in spite of my cold.

Then home to face the remodel job of our kitchen.  Holy cow!  I want my kitchen to be put back together!!!!  Okay, I got that out of my system.

But, today I worked on some cards for the gallery.  A little mermaid turned up.  I'm liking her more and more.   Here they are.

 This whole thing with painting all my own paper to use in my artwork is very addictive.  Also, very time consuming.  Even though it may look like a pattern on the paper.  I created that pattern with rubber stamps (most that I made myself)  or a stencil.   I still use some store bought paper.  But, for the most part I make my own.
