Home work

I stayed home sick a couple days this week.  I had an awful cold.  But, I did manage to draw a bit in my sketchbook.  Gosh, I love a sketchbook.  Hope everyone else is feeling good.  I still have a deep voice but other than that I'm back in the pink.  Here is a snap shot of some raccoon drawings I've been working on.

Edge

This is what I came up with for Illustration Friday.  The word to illustrate this week was Edge.


"LeRoy liked to walk on the edge of Mrs. Murphy's garden wall.  Mrs. Murphy did not enjoy this activity in the least."

If you look real hard, you might see Mrs. Murphy's cat in the drawing as well.

It's Almost Christmas!

Hooray!  All my children will be home for the holidays!
If I could sing, I would.  But, I can still dance.  So, let there be dancing!

Friends

Here are some snowmen friends I created a little while ago.

I'm so glad it's Friday!  I still have a ton of things to do in order to be ready for Christmas.  I will have my parents and my two wonderful children as well as my son in law on Christmas morning.  Well, I think the kids show up a couple days before Christmas.
I can't wait.  Maybe, I'll bake some cookies tonight!

As I get ready for the holidays I will continue to pray for the people in the Connecticut shooting.

The Stockings were Hung

I've been busy decking the halls at my house.  Wish it looked like this.  I don't even have a cat anymore.  I do have a wonderful little dog named Lois, who is very interested in the tree and anything Christmas.  She loves the holidays.  Lois is a girl after my own heart.  Well, the truth is, I gave Lois my heart long ago.

And the Christmas cheer continues!  I wish decorating my home for the holidays was as easy as posting on my blog.  No decorating tonight for me.  It's party, party, party time.  Birthdays come but once a year, (thank goodness), and today it is mine.  So, enjoy the day everyone, only 2 weeks until Christmas!
