Had to hurry back to Church this afternoon for the Blessing of the Pets. I attend St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Albany, Oregon. We had a really good turn out. I think I counted 20 dogs at this years event. It's a very nice service and it's pretty short which is nice if you are trying to keep your dog calm. I'll try to get my hands on some photos of the event and post them. Now we are home and Lois thinks she will take a little nap. I'm not far behind her. Have a blessed Sunday.
This image is so cute, Melissa. I don't think we have a blessing of the pets here in our area but we noticed the signs in front of the churches on our trip to the Chicago area last week. We DO have a pet parade in June for the Laurel Festival and it's so much fun to see the pets being pulled in wagons, dressed to the nines!
